I’m really not spoiled selfish brat. Just bored, while waiting on something. So, what better way to pass the time than making a Christmas wishlist.I love wishlists, regardless of whether or not I intend to get anything on it. Here’s mine right now:
BOOTS. Ah, the coveted Steve Madden Intyce boots. I want them in Grey (and Black). I keep looking them over but never make the purchase. I’m really bad at making purchases on single items over $100. I tense up. I should have bought them, or at the very least, THESE, by now.
Moccasin Slippers! I wanted a pair at Old Navy, that were $14, but I decided to wait to purchase them on Black Friday since I knew we were going and they could potentially be much cheaper!
Well, of course they were gone, and they appear to have sold out online as well.… Grrr! I did find a pair at DB Shoes for $25. Petty steep for slippers. Kind of ridiculous. So the hunt continues.
I do intend on buying the chair, after Christmas. I LOVE that chair. I think I’m finally going to go for it. I am becoming more and more aware of how much I do really need a proper chair for my sewing area. My cheap dining chairs and standing is getting brutal on the feet and back. I’d love a chair to adjust desk height to bar height. And, while any desk chair could potentially do the trick. The Patrik is the chair I’ve been lusting after for some time. I enjoy decorating, so the chairs design is just as important as its function. And just look at dear Patrick. He’s a beauty.
I will eventually invest in an adjustable dress form. I’m still iffy when it comes to the sizing of them. For it to be my size, I’d have to get a medium, and I think I’m on the way end of the range for the medium. But the idea of getting the adjustable dress form if to have a wider option of sizes and I’d like to have larger sizes as well. So, I really don’t know where I stand on it yet. More research to do, I suppose. My skinny mini non existent waist decorative dress form will have to do until I figure it out.
-A magnetic pin tray/cushion would be amazingly helpful while sewing. I always end up with piles of pins next to my machine.
I want a tan/camel/light brown coat pretty bad. And I love this Gap one. The collar is fantastic.
-Other little things I’ve had my eye on:
-The Lab Partner Dress from Modcloth, I just love the colors!
-And The ASOS Buckle bag I have been wanting for some time. I may end up buying it eventually.
-Some sewing books, on making your own clothes and patterns, and the Sew Darn Cute one -Emily picked out a while back. I keep meaning to pick it up. The Cary Grant biography, I would love to read and own. I <3 Cary!
-A Hand vacuum! I will be buying one of these soon.
-Mad Men DVDs. Anything available. I’ve seen all of season 1 and 2, but want to recap and catch up. The Chronological Donald DVDs. I already have Volume 4! Just need the rest.
Okay, this list is long! Time to start saving!
