Mixed prints, and double stripes.
I’ve never been too great at the whole pattern mixing thing. But, it is totally one of my most favorite trends. So, I was excited to take this opportunity to challenge myself.
I didn’t get too crazy. I would have like to try a bit more. As it turns out, I just don’t have a lot of patterns in my closet! I never realized jut how plain I really am. Also, trying to put patterns and prints together is totally a complex puzzle. And I LOVE it. Anyhow, this is what I came up with. It’s not as mixxxy as it could be, but I reallllly love this outfit!
striped tee: H&M
sheer top: something from TJ maxx
scarf: Forever 21
skirt: Target
flats: Urban
clutch: Krust.
Can’t wait to check out everyone else’s posts. I Love EBEW.

Oh I think this is really cool. I love how the printed top is sheer so you can see the stripes peaking through. And of course and the small stripe/big stripe combo with the top and purse is great! I love me some stripes {if you couldn’t tell}!
Stripes ARE the best!
I LOVE how you put this together! The sheer printed top over the striped top is brilliant.
so great…love the sheer pattern over the stripes!! Your clutch rocks!!
I love your outfit! I think you should try pattern mixing more often, since you have such a nice outfit here!
I do plan to try to work more pattern mixing into my outfits!
I love your take on print-mixing! I think it is just enough without going overboard…it’s a fine line, you know! And I’m with you, I didn’t realize how few (at least mixable) prints I really had-just goes to show I need to rethink what can be mixed with what! Really digging you striped clutch too btw, is it DIY?
It is, in fact! I make purses and have an Etsy shop where I sell them

You did great with this look AND I seriously, totally, completely want your clutch, please.
o i like double stripes. that’s a cool interpretation of pattern mixing.
I love how you incorporated your clutch into pattern mixing! You look great!
I always incorporate my bags! lol shameless
Oooh, I love it! The stripes on stripes is awesome, and I love the scarf! And it’s always good to see you pimping your own bag so very well. Those things are incredible!
Thank you! I like them, and its fun to work outfits around them everyday!
I love how you mixed your prints

i love your look! and that bag!
You may have not gone crazy with patterns but I really like your ensemble. It’s fresh and fun but also chic. I also realized yesterday that I don’t have many patterns in my closet which is something I need to remedy. Anyway you look beautiful.
Cheers,
Bre

Love this whole look! The two different types of stripes and the oversized fun patterned top, and the flowy green scarf – all great separate and pieced together. – Katy
