Black and Tan, Ruffled.

A somewhat new color combo for the Ruffle clutch! Black canvas with a tan Ruffle.  It’s perfect!

Check it out in the shop, HERE.

I wish my sister was willing to model more often. Come on! She always looks so great in pictures…

What I <3 Wednesday: Black and White Stripes!

A quick one! Because I am so sleepy… Keeping super busy over here! Starting to become the norm since the past few weeks. I’ll take it! I am filling orders, trying to stay on top of my shop by adding new designs regularly. I am also starting to plan for an actual swap meet at a car show to sell some bags at with a few other vendors. I am pretty pumped for it. But, I need to work double time to be able to have a good amount of product ready-made to take with me!!!! Wish me luck, bring me food, or remind me to take bathroom breaks… No, really. I forget.

For What I Love Wednesday, I chose Black and White Stripes! I guess it’s an obvious one. But, it was a chance to share a few fun pictures I have found and saved from about the web.

images: room, table setting, couch, boots, Balanciaga bag, Krust bag.

Seriously, Check out the table setting from Martha Stewart Weddings, and tell me that wedding doesn’t look like fun was guaranteed. I know I’m talking about black and white stripes here, but I Love the COLORS in the photo of the bridesmaids.

THAT COUCH!!! I WILL have Black and white striped upholstered furniture one day. I will.

If I could actually find that Balenciaga Bag, I would consider buying it. Okay, not really because I’d have to rob a bank. But, damn. Look. at. it. <3

The Lisa special.

These 2 new clutches were made with my girlfriend Lisa in mind. We celebrated her Birthday over the weekend and I wrapped these as her gift. Lisa is a big fan of the Yellow and Gray color combo. As am I. She had actually already ordered the ruffle clutch, but as her gift I threw in a striped clutch she had mentioned in passing earlier last week. I wrapped them together to kind of juice up the whole gift and well, they just complimented each other!

Pretty great Summer colors! Find both of these new clutches in the shop, NOW!

What I <3 Wednesday: Teapots!

I Love drinking tea. It’s in my blood. No really. But, beyond my love for drinking tea. I also LOVE teapots! They are so darn cute. Even if I didn’t like tea (weird), I would still love teapots. It really is the most adorable receptacle to hold a beverage in.

So I thought I’d share a roundup of some of my favorite teapot images from around the web.

What I <3 Wednesday.

I recently stumbled across Lollipops. I  love discovering other creative people on the web to get inspiration from. (Also, LOVE how her name is spelled).  Fun stuff. I Love the What I love Wednesday posts. And had the perfect post to contribute. In my opinion at least. because I’m so obsessed right now.

What I LOVE: 70′s dress patterns, (and a few capes)

Over the weekend while I wan hanging out with my Sister in Law, she had mentioned she wanted a very specific style dress to wear to a friends wedding that we are attending in September. She had it all pictured in her head. Well it sure sounded that way. I believe the description was something along the lines of above knee skirt, aline shape dress with long balloon sleeves, and a modest neckline. Solid colored fabric with  a sheer overlay, with the sleeves only in the the sheer fabric only. She’s always been a 70′s child. I’m pretty sure the first  time I met her she was wearing bell bottoms, and ALWAYS had the craziest STACKED platforms. Well, we started to chat about constructing this dress vision she had, and at some point I decided to search for some 70′s dress patterns to use or get design inspiration from. Well, after sifting through a good 2,000 + patterns we had started a bit of a collection on Pinterest. I am now more obsessed with some of these styles of dresses that I was thinking I’d be. I want to make myself (and Emily) a nice collection of 70′s reproduction dresses this year. I can’t wait! I love it all, the sleeves, the ruffles, the necklines, the waistlines. Going to make some LOVELY stuff to wear.

AMAZING.

Fabric shopping for this is going to be so fun.

Tan Heartstrings tote, another revamp.

As I continue to list new designs, I am still going back and slowly updating the original heartstrings line a bit. As you have seen in the Tan messenger and the Black messenger. Last week I reworked the Tan tote. It has thicker sturdier handles, a cleaner Heartstrings design, and is generally just photographed better. Check it out:

See the Heartstrings tote bag in my shop, HERE.

I’m still getting the hang of my shop photography. Trying different things to get the best results. I made a lightbox, but my lamp puts off really yellow lighting, even though it’s supposed to be white. So, daylight is still the winner. It would be nice to have some flexibility with time for photo taking. But, I suppose, you can’t win em’ all. You gotta admit, they are getting better though!

A Monday outfit.

Nothing special, but I went out today to run a few errands in between working on some things here. I have been carrying the new Houndstooth clutch (Houndstooth clutch V2) the past couple days and I love it. I love larger clutches. My sister actually chose the measurements for this clutch while explaining her ideal clutch. So, Thank you, Sarah! It really is the perfect size.

Tops: Old Navy

Scarf: Forever 21 I really need to challenge myself to NOT wear this darn thing anymore :/

Skinny Jeans: Old Navy

Flats: Urban Outfitters

Clutch: Krust.

I am getting a lot of work done today. Getting a lot ready for a big trip to the Post Office tomorrow morning. Guess what? I hate the Post Office. So the least time I can spend there, the better. I am really hoping to make enough money soon to buy my little business here a printer and a scale, so I can eventually eliminate the trips to the Post Office! Can’t wait! That means lower shipping prices too ;)

AND tonight I get to go to the Shark tank to watch the San Jose Sharks vs. LA Kings! Can’t wait for this game!

Hope your Monday is as fantastic as mine is!

Houndstooth clutch V2.

I found a different Houndstooth that I liked, so I grabbed some and listed a new version of the Houndstooth clutch! check it out.

The clutch is available to order with custom colored lining options here: Krust on Etsy.

A clear Favorite.

The Houndstooth envelope clutch is proving to be a spring must have! I worked on 3 tonight!

Seeing the approval it’s getting is very exciting. But, my sister and I hunted for more of the fabric tonight, and it looks to be gone! I have enough stocked here for some more, but once it’s gone, I fear it may be it! I’m going to keep hunting (I was supposed to make my sister a dress out of it :/ oops) But, it looks really great as a clutch!

In case it’s the end, you better snatch one of these babies up now if you’re thinking about it. Just sayin’ ;)

Crossbody debut, and serious sun in my face.

I took these photos on Friday. The sun was SO bright, because I took these a lot earlier than usual. So, the photos are pretty washed out. But, whatev.
