Favorite FNO, the Show, looks.

So, thanks to CBS.com I was able to watch Fashion’s Night Out, The Show live streaming online yesterday! I was pretty stoked.
The show was RAD. If I ever get over my fear of flying I would LOVE Love love to try to make it to one, since this is the show anyone can attend. I love that idea. Thank you, Anna Wintour.

Opening Act:
All the models came out in gorgeous long skirts with their FNO tank tops on top.

a. I LOVE this grey Carolina Herrera skirt. I’m really into this mullet skirt thing (short in front, long in back).
b. Oscar de la Renta
c. This Monique Lhuillier might be my fav. I’m not usually a fan of the bunching, but these last 2 skirts, I really like.

Fifties Flair:
Really all of these looks were pretty great. It just looks so fun to be all dolled up in retro inspired outfits. It was very Mad Men.

d. Paul Smith dress
e. I Love the Navy and brown  in this Sophie Theallet dress.
f. I think this is my favorite from this section. I love the colors together! LOVE. Miu Miu sweater with Gold St. John pencil skirt.

Tartan Twist:
I love how these alot of the plaids were paired with big black boots and leather pieces. It totally toughens them up.

g. Dries Van Noten coat
h. L.A.M.B. coat
i. I really love the idea of a cape coat. 3.1 Phillip Lim cape coat

Pure at Heart:

I wasn’t really to keen on many on the Pure at Heart looks. I can’t say why really. I didn’t hate any of them, but nothing really stood out to me above the rest other than the complete Marni look. Maybe, I am just not in the mood for the pureness of it all right now.

j. I love this blank coat. The color makes me swoon. I love tans. But, really can we talk about the Rose Bermuda shorts? Because, I’m in L<3ve.

Weekend Wrap up:

Just about all of these I was really into. I love scarves, and big bags.

k. This coat is damn awesome. Tibi coat, J. Brand pants, Rag & Bone scarf, Filson bag, Gap boots.
l. Opening Ceremony coat, American Apparel turtleneck, Filson bag, Gap boots.
m. All Burberry, except for the J.Crew sacrk and Jason Wu belt. I love this Olive Suit by Burberry Prorsum, it feels very military while being totally feminine and classic. I want.
n. All Rag & Bone except for Burberry boots.

Rock Chic:

o. Isabel Marant
p. D&G Velvet Blazer, Isabel Marant gold sequin leggings

Go Global:

q. H&m coat, Gary Graham dress
r. Jean Paul Gaultier coat and skirt

Jazz-Age Cool:
I loved all of these vintage inspired looks.

s. This Oscar de la Renta dress is really old Hollywood to me. I love the flare at the end of the gown. definitely my favorite skirt silhouette.
t. Alberta Ferretti Champagne crystal embroidered dress.
u. Homegirl Jessica Stam in a Marc Jacobs silk lame dress. mmmm. I love the shimmer!

Grand Finale:

v. I love the colors in this Louis Vuitton dress, and again, the bunching, love it on this.
w. Marc Jacobs gown
x. Alberta Ferretti white silk gown.

Rebecca Taylor Fall Ready to Wear 2010

Today, I came across Rebecca Taylor’s Fall 2010 RTW line  that was shown back in February.

I can’t stop drooling.

It’s pretty perfect. It’s everything I love about Fall fashion. Layers, tights, boots, scarves… And I love the colors. Who would have thought pale blue was fall color? Not me. Until now!

For me, this is the highlight!

The coat, especially. Jesus. Killing me.

But, the chances that I will have $600 extra to buy a coat for winter in California are slim to none.

Also, side note, I love the makeup from this show. Any tips for this thick black eyeliner look? I discussed with my sister tonight who believes the black liner would end up all over after an hour or so. She pointed out that these girls were wearing this makeup for about 20 minutes. Any chance Benefit’s She laq would work?
